Choosing a reader — how it is said changes how it lands
updated · 5 min read
The result itself is fixed mechanically from your date of birth and your name. Changing the reader does not change the signs or the cards that come up. What changes is the telling.
That is deliberate. If the reader changed the result, the service could be used to hunt for whoever says the nicest thing. Same result, different telling. We think that shape is the honest one.
The difference is not small, though. The same content — that this is not the moment to move — changes what you do afterwards depending on whether it arrives quietly beside you or is said straight out.
There are three kinds
| Kind | How they speak | What it suits |
|---|---|---|
| Gentle | Softly, staying close to you | When you are low. When you want to be taken in first |
| Fiery | Plainly, saying it straight | When you want a push. When you want the hesitating to end |
| Balanced | Calmly, putting things in order | When you want to take the situation in steadily |
Each kind has a woman and a man, six in all. Choosing by the impression of the voice is fine, and so is choosing by which picture you prefer.
When you are low, take the gentle ones
There are also days when you already know the answer and only lack the last push. On those, the fiery ones work better. Gentle words can make the hesitating go on longer.
You need not keep to the same person
There is no need to pick the same reader each time. Changing with how you are on the day makes the reading more useful. It is like choosing who to talk something over with.
The result never changes with the reader. It is built so that hunting for someone who will say something pleasant is not possible. Same result, different telling.
If you cannot decide
When in doubt, take whichever picture caught your eye. Choosing by feel at the time tends to fit better on reading than choosing by reasoning.
Note: the person asking questions in this article is fictional. This is not a record of a real consultation.
Common questions
- Are some readers more accurate than others?
- No. The calculated result is the same whoever you choose. The only difference is the words it is told in.
- Can I change reader partway?
- Not within one reading, and you can choose again next time. The same date of birth leaves a different impression when the telling changes.
- Is there a difference between the women and the men?
- Within the same kind, the direction of the speech is the same. Choose by the impression of the voice or by which picture you prefer.
