Where your reading goes — a service built not to store it
updated · 5 min read
To take the conclusion first: names, dates of birth, photographs and readings are none of them stored on our servers. With no account to create, there is no mechanism for tying information to a person in the first place.
Where a reading in progress lives
A reading runs across several screens. During that, what you entered and the partial results sit inside the browser on your own device. They are not deposited with a server.
They are not because there is no need. Carrying information across screens is something a device can do on its own. Build a mechanism for storing it and you take on the responsibility for protecting it.
That holding is temporary, and it clears when the reading finishes or when you close the browser. Nothing remains when you next open it.
| Information | Where it sits | When it goes |
|---|---|---|
| Name and date of birth | Inside the browser on your device | At the end of the reading, or when the page closes |
| Photographs | On the server only during the analysis | As soon as the analysis is done |
| The reading | Inside the browser on your device | At the end of the reading, or when the page closes |
| The letter (PDF) | Wherever you saved it | It does not go. It stays with you |
The compatibility reading never leaves your device
The compatibility reading goes further still. The calculation itself runs inside your device, and nothing you enter is sent to a server at all.
That reading asks for another person's name and date of birth as well as your own — information you do not have their consent for. Which is exactly why it is built not to send it. What is not sent cannot be stored or passed on.
Where AI is used, the content of a reading does go to an external provider. Names are not sent; only the results of the methods. Where photographs are used, the image goes too, so there is a confirmation screen before anything is sent.
What not storing makes impossible
It is not all advantage. Because nothing is stored, some things cannot be done, and it is fair to say so.
There is also this: close the page partway and you begin again. There is no mechanism for resuming. A reading takes a few minutes, so it is safer to start when you have the time.
You cannot look back at a past reading. You cannot compare with a previous palm. A letter cannot be reissued. There is no feature for keeping a history at all.
Save whatever you want to look at again, at the time. The letter comes as a PDF, so downloading and keeping it is the reliable route.
Common questions
- Do I need to close an account or request deletion?
- Neither. With no account and nothing stored, there is no data to delete. Closing the page clears the temporary holding on your device.
- Can I see a past reading again?
- You cannot, because nothing is stored. If you want to keep one, take the letter as a PDF and save it.
- Does the same date of birth give the same result?
- The parts calculated from a date of birth do. The parts where cards are drawn are decided by the day, so they change when the date changes.
